Western Window Systems’ Approach to Windows and Doors

Through their designs Western Window Systems look to blend innovation and functionality within a specific target area. Their glass walls and door systems aim to open up space, and offer a seamless transition from the indoors to the outdoors.

The company provides top-of-the-line solutions that among others, include door systems that slide and fold, windows that integrate with each other or stand-out separately.

The Classic Line

Part of the company’s Classic Line, the Series 600 Multi-slide Door system gives the effect of a whole wall disappearing and opening up into your back yard or terraced area.

Featuring unobstructed rolling glass panels that stack or slide into pockets for extra-wide openings, they use sealed stainless steel ball-bearing rollers for ease of operation. The Series 600 also uses dual-paned, low-E glass to help reflect heat while allowing light to pass through unobstructed.

Also part of the Classic Line is the Series 9500 Bi-Fold Door, which is designed to effortlessly stack and fold against side walls – another great way to connect the indoors with the outdoors. This type of door also uses dual-paneled, low-E glass and is made of aluminum – which means it’s energy-efficient and low maintenance.

The line also offers the Series 900 hinged door, which uses wide glass panels and modern, clean looks to provide an impressive entry point to either your home or different rooms within it. And then there’s the Series 980 Pivot Door, which is able to either swing in or out and features a massive panel of glass to really let as much light in as possible.

The Classic Line concludes with three types of windows – The Series 600 Window Wall, which is completely customizable and highly energy efficient while still providing some serious wow factor.  The Series 670 Hinged Window, which combines clean design and optimal performance; and the Series 610 Single-Hung and Series 620 Sliding Windows, which a often used in commercial applications like hotels, apartments and other commercial buildings.

The Performance Line

Packed with features and innovations that have been 60 years in the making, the Series 7600 Multi-Slide Door is a favorite with architects because of its large, rolling and stackable glass panels. With argon-filled, dual-panel glass, low-E and a .30 U-value it’s also extremely energy efficient.

The Series 7650 Sliding Door is the company’s most efficient aluminum sliding glass door ever and is touted as the next generation of patio door. Perfect for contemporary indoor living spaces.

When it comes to bi-fold doors, Western Window Systems has a great option. The Series 7950 Bi-Fold Door boasts impeccable design, premium-grade materials and is perfect for indoor-outdoor living.

There are two options for hinged doors within the Performance Line – the Series 7900 Hinged door, which combines clean styling, wide glass panels and durability; and the Series 7980 Pivot Door, which offers a decidedly modern and design-forward solution to taller, wider entrance points.

With the 7630 Window Wall, Series 7000 Window Line and Series 7610/7620 Operating Window Line, there’s something here for everyone when it comes to windows – from walls that span an entire facade, to small, individual options.

The Simulated Steel Line

Unlike steel doors and windows that can cost double the price of aluminum, often require glazing and include lengthy lead times, Western Window Systems’ simulated steel line is all about efficiency and value.

By choosing simulated steel you’re also making a real statement, and narrow sightlines, beveled glass stops, and coped muntin bars replicate the existing steel profiles used in many historic buildings.

With its signature aluminum extrusion design, across-the-board low U-value ratings, and low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass this line is also incredibly energy efficient.
